A bitter sweet StylePair. Bitter because it will be my last one on this blog. Sweet because it is perfection. Etro and Architectural Digest perfection.
So my friends… the time has come. This is officially my last StylePair on this blog. Our new website - Fashion + Decor will be launching next week and all StylePair creations will now live there. This blog will stay open but will become more about my personal style, featuring products/things/places I adore.
I thank you SO very much for your loyalty and hope that you will join me over at Fashion + Decor next week. In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Fashion + Decor Managing Editor, Anne Flanders. Hope you enjoy her take on this last bitter sweet StylePair.

Each room of Brooke Shields’ Architectural Digest-featured NYC home is more stunning than the last! Case in point: the dining room, where we’ve got a wallpaper mural, glossy leather chairs, exquisitely detailed pedestal table, bow front sideboard… it’s just superlative on every level. This Etro look is perfectly on point. I mean, the sleek pant. The hint of pattern. THE JACKET, people. An asymmetrical, ruffled take on a biker jacket in glossy rust leather. Brooke would totally rock this look.
Hope you enjoyed your introduction to our fabulous Managing Editor, Anne. Goodbye for now. We will see you over at Fashion + Decor next week!

Oh dear God… Diane von Furstenburg’s dining room in a StylePair with DVF Spring 2012 RTW. Do you think Diane was inspired to style her dining room after this look? Or do you think her dining room inspired this wildly wonderful mixed colors/mixed prints look?

Oh dear God… Diane von Furstenburg’s dining room in a StylePair with DVF Spring 2012 RTW. Do you think Diane was inspired to style her dining room after this look? Or do you think her dining room inspired this wildly wonderful mixed colors/mixed prints look?

I am still recovering this evening from this room and actually all the rooms I stumbled upon this morning in Architectural Digest. All the rooms in the feature that I am still recovering from were rooms in Diane von Furstenburg’s New York City apartment.
I don’t even know how to explain how wonderful of a find this was… I am overwhelmed with fashion + decor joy. Pure Joy.
This is one of the best Saturday’s. This AD feature has made my weekend. Now a question for you… can you guess whom DVF’s dining room/work area will be in a StylePair with? Can you guess?
Wait for it. Wait for it.

Taking a little break from our Fall 2012 RTW coverage to share some fabulous news! I have been asked to attend High Point Market, the Worlds Home for Home Furnishings, this April as part of the Market Authority’s Sponsored Blogger Program.
And my sponsor is (still can’t believe it) Theodore Alexander. If you don’t know this exquisite furniture company - then you should meet them - like now. Theodore Alexander is one of the leading manufactures of fine furniture, lighting and accessories. They provide eclectic, traditional and modern classical furniture and accessories.
This Theodore Alexander chair is called the Trent chair and I adore everything about it. Couldn’t you just scream Givenchy?

Theodore Alexander’s Trent chair with Givenchy Fall 2012 RTW? It more then works for me…
I have been a fan of Theodore Alexander for a while now - so to have them ask me to join them at High Point this April - well - kind of a dream come true. Another dream come true - creating a Theodore Alexander + Givenchy Style Pair - brown leather sophistication for the home and your wardrobe!
Thank you Theodore Alexander for the opportunity - look forward to working with you!

Elle Decor and Oscar de la Renta Fall 2012 RTW - seriously do I need to walk you through this one?
I mean come on now… it does not get better then this.
Oscar at New York Fashion Week and Elle Decor together have made my Fall 2012 elegant and pretty in blue.

Altuzarra Fall 2012 RTW in green velour.
Next to Rue Magazine as a StylePair - I could die.
A perfect StylePair out of New York Fashion Week.

The Porter Grey Fall 2012 RTW look paired to an Elle Decor bedroom is just as delightful.
Now this is not an exact StylePair match but Porter Grey and Elle Decor just feel like they match. Everything about this bedroom screams Porter Grey - leathers, dark colors with crisp whites and last but not least tailored perfection.
I would take Porter Grey in my closet or in my home any day of the week. How about you?

Porter Grey another show I attended at NYFW and as I have tweeted - if you don’t know Porter Grey yet - get to know them. Like now.
Founded by sisters, Alexandra and Kristen O’Neill, Porter Grey creates American contemporary sportswear. Their collections so far, (second season), are so me they make me want to scream. Actually, I almost did just that when I saw their Fall 2012 collection in person at New York Fashion Week. This look above was the look that actually made me scream… with delight.
